If it's a local printer, you can usually expect it to be completed within 7-10 business days.
If you are unable to open an EPS file it means that you don't have the appropriate software. EPS files are typically created by a designer in Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop.
FYI - EPS files are made from vectors and can be scaled up or down without losing resolution.
Resolution is measured in Dots Per Inch (dpi).
72 dpi = Screen Resolution (only good for web or monitor graphics)
150 dpi = Medium Resolution (it will print out okay but not the best)
300 dpi = High Resolution (most of your graphics should be created at 300 dpi and then scaled down if necessary)
You can alway ask your printer what resolution he wants the file saved at.
