One of the great aspects of southern California is the strong sense of community that pervades many of the cities and neighborhoods that reside within the region. Los Alamitos is one such close-knit locality, and at the heart of Los Alamitos lies St. Isidore Historical Plaza, the oldest public building within the city. When the church on the property closed, the threat of an important landmark being demolished to make way for another strip mall became a daunting possibility. In response, the people of Los Alamitos have mobilized and organized a non-profit organization to save St. Isidore.
Knightling has been proud to assist their cause by designing and developing their new custom website. We were able to integrate a multiple-tier donation system using a PayPal secure framework to provide a boost to the St. Isidore fundraising efforts. The site's color palette and fonts provide visitors with a sense of the historical importance of St. Isidore while the layout guides people to the critical parts of the present story and information on how they can play a role in preserving this historical landmark, community center and event venue for generations to come.
